Mr. Wolford has successfully represented clients throughout New York State in civil and criminal matters in both state and federal courts. He served as Assistant United States Attorney for three years in the 1970s before spending 21 years as an associate and partner at Nixon, Hargrave, Devans & Doyle. He established the predecessor firm of Michael R. Wolford & Associates in 1993.
Mr. Wolford was President of the Monroe County Bar Association for the 2004-2005 term. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and past chair of the College’s Upstate New York Committee, past president of the Rochester chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and past chairman of the Monroe County Board of Ethics.
He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for “Bet-The-Company Litigation,” as well as Personal Injury Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Labor and Employment Litigation, Environmental Litigation and Municipal Litigation.
