Can I file a mechanics lien

Florida

I am a general contractor that was working on a property , homeowner has breached contract , not allowing me to complete work on his property. I have filed an intent to lien for the remainder of what was owed , I am wondering if there was a good case to file a lien on homeowners property if not paid?

You may file a lien only for the contracted value of unpaid labor, services and materials incorporated into the property. Your lien may include specially fabricated materials for the project even if not yet placed on the property, if any. You may not lien for lost profit from the breach of the agreement. However, you do have the right to bring suit for the lost profit on the unfinished work.
