Letter from Levelset.com attempting to put lien on house.

hired a contractor who worked on my house and one of the employees claims to not be paid for his work done. Has sent a letter from levelset.com advising he will put a lien on house.

A subcontractor can put a lien on your house if they are not paid. If it was an employee of the contractor putting a lien on your house then he should have consulted with a lawyer first, as there is a more appropriate way for the employee to seek a remedy against the contractor. You should contact your contractor and discuss with him or her.
