Can you file a GA Mechanic's lien on multiple properties?

GeorgiaMechanics Lien

A subcontractor is working on a project that contains multiple properties. All work is covered under the same contract and invoice and the properties have the same owner. Can a mechanic's lien on the project cover multiple properties? Or should the subcontractor make a lien filing for each property?

Generally, a mechanics lien should not include multiple, separate properties. Rather, the safest way for proceeding is to assume that a mechanics lien will only attach to one individual property. This makes sense, too - mechanics liens arise against the property where the work was performed, and they aren't created by contract or as a personal right against a particular owner. Levelset discusses that here: Filing a Lien on a Project with Multiple Properties. This question sounds eerily similar to another recent GA question, and I think the information there may be useful to you too: Can I list multiple properties on a Georgia Mechanic’s Lien?
